Is Dshop a legal website? Would it be right to shop here? Dealing with them is an absolute joke. We received a desk that we purchased for $200 that was so flimsy and looked like it cost $20. I don’t think it was strong enough to even hold a computer on it, let alone all the books and equipment it was holding in the photo. The photo is completely misleading and makes the desk look expensive, solid and sturdy and when we tried to put it together it didn’t line up, it was super flimsy and thin. We asked for a refund and were told if we sent it back we would get our whole amount refunded. After we sent it back in good faith (and paid $30 for the postage), they only refunded $136 instead of the full $200 and said it was because we changed our mind – even though we returned it because it is an inferior product. I think we have sent in excess of 50 emails to them and you always get a different person replying or different person on the phone that can’t speak English properly and then sends a general email instead of seeing that there is already a huge email trail from previous emails to other people in their company. This is our warning to you – don’t waste your money! On receipt two weeks later, wow.. I reckon you could do better with a bunch of cardboard boxes and a roll of gaffa tape. Box arrived with a ding in the side, and a few of the panels, which reminded me of silk screens from art class in high school, were already damaged. Some of the posts had rust. Customer services response was basically “we didn’t say it was made of sturdy materials, you can return it under the “change of mind policy” and lose 20% and you will wear the return fees back, if its received ok we will refund within 30 days” – really?? Left a one star review of the product on their site, and hasn’t shown – evidence that they filter the reviews to skew the figures. Total letdown. Avoid Avoid Avoid. On chat, trying to get a response as emails would take days to get returned, would regularly have them leave the chat while awaiting an answer.. “Jakob r left the chat” then “Margaret A left the chat”.. I’d put $5 that they are the same person just using different aliases. I purchased a DIY Cube Storage 27 XXL Cupboard Combination Wardrobe (Magic Cabinet) – style: 27 door and it arrived by courier on Saturday 12/12/20. I constructed the cupboard on Monday 14/12/20. After carefully following the instructions on how to construct the cupboard, I was very disappointed to discover that most of the doors were misaligned thereby making it difficult to open and close each door. Some doors remained open due to not being aligned properly. I contacted Dshop on Monday evening via their on-line chat explaining that the cupboard was faulty due to most of the doors being misaligned. Dshop asked for photos that I uploaded to the same chat session. After the chat session had finished, I received an email from Dshop asking for more photos and a video. I provided more photos and a video and asked for a full refund and for the cost of return postage to be paid by Dshop. On Tuesday I received an email from Dshop offering a $30 gift card and for me to keep the faulty cupboard. I emailed back asking for a full refund and explaining again why the cupboard was faulty. Dshop responded with another email changing their ‘offer’ from a $30 gift card to a $30 partial refund and they refused to give a full refund because I hadn’t provided a video of ALL faulty doors (despite me providing a photo of the whole cupboard that clearly showed a number of misaligned doors); that I wasn’t eligible for a full refund because I had already assembled the item and that I could easily fix the problem of the misaligned doors myself. I went on to the Consumer Affairs website to check what my rights are in relation to returns and refunds and what I could do to resolve the situation. I found that I was eligible for a refund and to contact the bank for a ‘chargeback’. I rang the bank and they provided me with steps to lodge a transaction dispute. I won’t be buying from this company again. Only good thing about it we will be using it in our next bonfire. DShop has poor customer service when trying to discuss delivery’s as well. The company they use for delivery’s is even worse (Hunterexpress) Once a purchase is made there is no support or responsibility on goods. You’re advised to contact the freight company who in turn advise to contact DShop. No human interaction. Worse after sales service. Will never purchase anything from your company again. I ordered.a.desk. I unpacked it to assemble. It was very CLEAR that they had not sent me a new product! The box and packaging qas all broken, one of the drawer runners qas broken and missing the bearings and rubber stopper, rubber “feet” had been nailed in very badly (crooked), and there was even a broken screw driver on the box obviously left by whoever tried to assemble this then sent it back. Some of the shelf pieces are chipped… and I have only JUST opened the box, so that is just what I found at first quick glance. I took photos of tye damaged pieces, repacked the item, and requested a refund and instructions on how to return. DDhop’s response was an wmail asking me to assemble the product and swnd a video. I replied saying I was not going to spend hours asswmbking something that was broken, only to have to reassemble and re-pack it to return. The response I received insisted that I had to so this, otherwise my o ly option was to return it at my expense and receive a PARTIAL refund under their “change of mind” policy. On Monday I will be finding out who the relevant omvudsman is and have them deal with it as this is clearly not legal. I actually purchased 2 desks and will be returning them both. Have never had such terrible service from ANYONE! STAY WELL CLEAR of this dodgy company. Reviews of this website are mixed. But most people are satisfied with its services. If you talk to me, then I am very happy with the service of dshop. I bought a Wooden Shoe Rack from the Dshop website and am very happy with its build quality. I like it very much. You can see my rack in the picture. I ordered it on 10 March and it reached my house on 18 March. So I did not see any problem in it. Yes, I had read some bad revisions on Trustpilot, after which I left the idea of shopping here. But later on I read the reviews of dshop.com.au on Google Reviews, I came to know that this is a good website. Because I trust Google Reviews more than TrustPilot, that’s why I ordered this shoes rack. And in which most of the reviews are negative. And seeing these revivals, you may have given up the idea of shopping from here. But do you know that on TrustPilot, most of the people who give revives are not happy with the products or services. And they take out their anger on the Trustpilot reviews site. Let’s see what Dshop’s rating is on Trustpilot. But dshop.com.au has not yet claimed their website on Trustpilot. This is not right because people do not trust the website. Almost all revivals are bad. So now we will see Amazon’s reviews on trustpilot. You can see for yourself that most of the reviews of Amazon are negative. So we can not say that the services of the website are not correct by looking at the reviews of Trustpilot. I am saying all these things because if 100 customers buy any goods from a website, only about 10 of them give a review. And that too when the customer is asked to review. Amazon has claimed their website on Trustpilot and they also respond to the reviews of the customers. My Experience with dshop.com.au Only last month I bought a bike from dshop.com.au website and I did not face any problem in it. Yes, delivery took a while. I bought the bike on 3 March and the delivery of my bike was on 24 March. But everything was right and its price is also right. I got this bike at $50 less price than other websites. Right now I have not clicked the photo of my bike, but after taking photos of it in 1 to 2 days, I will definitely put it in the answer. So dshop.com.au is a legal website and you can shop here. Do not pay attention to negative reviews. Yes, everyone is facing problems due to Corona’s ringing. All companies have sent their employees on leave, which is causing problems in delivery.
